Bill By Chat ("Bill By Chat", "we", "us") is operated under the Bill By Chat business name. By using Bill By Chat you agree to these terms. If you use Bill By Chat on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business.
Bill By Chat turns your notes, chats, receipts, and documents into invoices and gives you a shareable payment page. Payments are made directly from your client to your own payment method (PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, your own card link, or bank transfer). We never hold, process, or take a cut of the money your clients pay you.
You must not misuse Bill By Chat. That includes: anything unlawful, fraud, spam, or deception; infringing others' intellectual property; uploading malware or probing, scraping, or interfering with the service; and using the AI to generate illegal content, deepfakes, hate speech, or attempts to bypass its safeguards.
Invoices are drafted by AI and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing every invoice before sending it, for the accuracy of amounts and details, for how you use the output, and for having the rights to anything you upload. AI output is not professional, legal, tax, or accounting advice. We may remove content, refuse outputs, or suspend access for policy violations. If you believe content infringes your rights, contact us and we will review and remove it where appropriate.
You are solely responsible for your invoices and your relationship with your clients, including delivering the work you bill for and honoring your own refund promises to them. Bill By Chat is not a party to any transaction between you and your clients.
Bill By Chat offers paid upgrades (a per-invoice Pro upgrade and an Unlimited subscription). Payments are processed securely by Stripe; for supported countries, Stripe also handles sales tax/VAT, fraud screening, disputes, and transaction support for these orders, and your card statement may show "LINK.COM* Bill By Chat". Prices are shown in US dollars before any applicable tax, which is calculated at checkout. You can cancel an Unlimited subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
We own Bill By Chat — the software, design, and branding. You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it within your plan. You keep ownership of the content you upload; you grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the service. Don't reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the service.
Bill By Chat is provided "as is". We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, and we disclaim all implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages (including lost profits, data, or goodwill), and our total liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where the law requires it.
We may suspend or end access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. Because Bill By Chat works without accounts, your invoices are tied to your browser; clearing your browser data may make them unreachable, so keep your pay links safe.
We may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept them. If any part is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
